It’s a chilly winter day, but we’re bundling up and going outside anyway! Join me, baby Atlas, and Ian in Episode 2 of my motherhood vlog, as we have a pretty chill day of watching Atlas roll over, taking a walk in Lincoln Park, introducing her to geese and squirrels, and taking some family photos. We also get some reading done and test out a new vlogging lens.
With this episode, I learned that vlogging can be tough sometimes, but I’m still really enjoying vlogging so far. The editing for this video, for example, took a lot longer than I expected. I had some issues with the colors on my first upload, so I had to re-export and re-upload this video, but it’s all fixed now. If you were in the group of people that watched, liked and commented before I swapped out the video, thank you so much for your quick support of the vlog! (But that’s why you won’t see your comment or like on the video linked here.) Thankfully, the mistakes I made are easily avoidable in the future, so hopefully that won’t happen again!
What’s next? Well, I’ve actually already recorded and just need to edit episode 3, which includes some indoor gardening with my Aerogardens, a cute new bow for Atlas, and baking an indulgent dessert that I haven’t enjoyed in years. (Don’t worry — I’lI include the recipe with my next video.)
I have a few ideas brewing for some non-vlog videos (my favorite newborn baby essentials and a review of the convertible crib we’re using for Atlas, for example), but I’d love to hear what you want to see.
